SPARTA - Anthony Dean Koopman, age 61, of Sparta, passed away on June 11, 2020.
Anthony was born in Sparta, WI to Robert and Doris (Schields) Koopman on November 26, 1958.
Anthony loved doing carpentry and construction work. He liked watching the Packers and NASCAR races.
Anthony is survived by his mother, Doris Melbye of Sparta; his children, Cory Koopman of Deerfield, WI, Erin Koopman of Slayton, MN; brothers, Robert Koopman Jr. (Darlene) of Sparta, Dan Koopman of Green Bay, WI; sisters, Betty Kowalski (Robert Sr.) of Sparta, Jennifer Kast (Rick) of Cashton; two grandsons, Dustin Koopman Jr. and Tyson Farley; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Koopman Sr.; stepfather, Harley Melbye Sr.; son, Dustin Dean Koopman Sr.; grandparents, Henry and Leona Koopman and Willis and Doris Dinger.
A private family service and burial will be held at a a later date.
