DORIS LORENE SANDERS REINART

TOMAH - Doris Lorene Sanders Reinart, 102, of Tomah died Thursday, November 28, 2019 at the Rolling Hills Rehabilitation Center, Sparta.
She was born March 29, 1917 in Big Creek to Clair and Doris (Fanning) Tucker. She attended country school in Big Creek and later to Sparta High School.
She was united in marriage to Charles A. Sanders April 21, 1934 in Winona, MN. He preceded her in death on April 23, 1976. She worked at Wisconsin Child Center for some time as assistance counselor. She was united in marriage William Reinart June 22, 1979 in Tomah. He preceded her in death on May 14, 2002.
Doris was a faithful member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Tomah, and a member of the ladies’ circle. She belonged to a birthday club and a Homemakers Club in Sparta in her younger years. Doris enjoyed gardening, sewing, crafts and crocheting. She also was an avid fisherman. She was a very caring person and had many friends. Doris loved to cook and be surrounded by her family.
Doris survived by 3 children from her first marriage, Beverly Peters of Cataract, Charlene Wright of Texas, Jane (James) Frei of Tomah, 3 stepchildren from 2nd marriage Michael (Peggy) Reinart of Warrens, Sue (Tom) Noth, and Barbara Johnson. She had 21 step grand and great grandchildren by 2nd marriage. By her 1st husband Doris had 15 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 44 great great great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
In addition to her husband’s, she was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers, 3 sisters, 2 sons, Charles R. and Francis C. Sanders, 2 sons-in-law, Robert Peters and Lee Wright, 3 grandchildren, Rene Sanders, Wayne Berry, Tina Sanders, 1 great granddaughter Kaycee Sanders, by 3 stepchildren, Danny and James, Nancy, 2 grandsons Andrew Noth and Jeremy Johnson.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2019, 11:00 A.M. at the First Congregational UCC, 115 LaCrosse St., Tomah. Pastor Bryan Simon will officiate. Burial will follow in the Cataract Cemetery.

Doris moved into the Tomah Care Center and later Rolling Hills Rehabilitation Center. The Family would like to thank all of the staff who were very kind to her. They enjoyed listening to her quick and witty answers and learned how fast she could be. Thank you for your caring for Doris.
