NORWALK - Gallis Martin Schmitz, 89, of rural Norwalk, WI, passed away on his farm, in the arms of his loving family, Tuesday, September 1, 2020.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, September 4, 11:00 a.m. at the Nativity of The Virgin Mary Catholic Church on St. Mary’s Ridge, WI. Father Eric Berns and Father Michael Klos and will officiate. Burial with full military honors will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be held at the church today, Thursday, September 3, 2020, beginning at 3:30 p.m. with a prayer service and concluding visitation at 8:00 p.m. all at the church. Visitation will also be held on Friday, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
The Torkelson Funeral Home of Cashton is assisting the family with arrangements.
