SPARTA - Sally L. Snyder, 71, of Sparta, WI, passed away Friday, April 10, 2020, at Rolling Hills Rehab in Sparta, WI. Sally was born December 12, 1948, to Clarence and Eleonora (Flock) Utter.
Sally worked at the Company Store for many years in the courtesy department. She married her best friend, Jim Snyder, and for over 25 years they enjoyed life together. Sally was an avid bowler and looked forward to meeting up with her bowling friends several days a week to shake up the local bowling alley. She spent many years teaching young bowlers the skills that she learned over the years. Sally also loved going camping at her seasonal home in New Lisbon. But her greatest joy is the love she had when she saw her precious great-grandchildren. They were the light of her life.
Sally is survived by her daughter, Denise Filter of Friendship, WI; two sons, Kevin J. (Megan) Stowell Sr. of MO, and Billy L. Weidling of WI; sisters and brother, Barbara (Ed) Sigmund of Wisconsin Dells, WI, Mary Jean Culver of Green Bay, WI, John Utter of TX, and Jo (Bruce) Reesie of Shakopee, MN; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her loving bowling family; along with many other relatives and friends.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents; and by her husband, Jim in 2011.
A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, June 20, 2020, 11:00 a.m.. at St. Cecelia's Catholic Church, 603 Oak St., Wisconsin Dells, WI, 53965. Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Sparta, WI.
