WARRENS - Wayne E. Harmon Jr., age 73, of Warrens, Wisconsin, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2020, at the VA Medical Center in Madison, Wisconsin. He was born June 11, 1947, to Wayne Sr. and Hazel (Kowaleski) Harmon. Wayne served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War from 1966-1969 as a mechanic working on helicopters and airplanes.

While serving his country, he met and fell in love with his beautiful wife Bouloy. They were married in 1968 and remained happily married until his death. Together they enjoyed living in their country home. They had a hobby farm and raised cows, pigs, chickens, ducks, rabbits, a goat and many other animals. Together they loved tending to a large garden.

Wayne worked at the Tomah VA Medical Center as a CNA until his retirement. He enjoyed working with the Veterans and his co-workers whom he has not forgotten. Prior to working at the VA, he worked for the Norgas Company for 11 years.

Wayne enjoyed deer hunting with his family and friends. Every year they would gather together to hunt their game. He also loved working his farm and enjoyed mechanics where he worked in his garage tinkering on vehicles and other things.

Bouloy loved Wayne very much and throughout the years they stayed by each other’s side and did everything together as a couple. No matter what they did, they did it together; cut wood for fuel, build their buildings, raised their animals, harvested together, butchered together and they would talk things through and make decisions together. They never left each other’s side and stayed close. They loved each other very much.

Wayne was a nice, kindhearted man who would help anyone in need. He had a big heart and will be missed by all.

He is survived by his wife, Bouloy; his brothers, Kenneth Harmon of Black River Falls, WI and Michael Harmon of Tomah, WI; sister-in-law, Emadene Harmon; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Hazel; sisters, Carol Bronner and Patricia Pierce; brothers, Donald and Gary Harmon; brother-in-law, John Pierce; and sister-in-law, Jackie Harmon.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 18, 2020, 11:00 a.m. at Shamrock Union Church in Black River Falls, WI. Burial with full military honors will follow in the Shamrock Cemetery, Black River Falls, Wisconsin.
