 American Legionnaire Robert (Bob) Anderson (right), a lifelong resident and active member within his community of Cataract, was recognized for 50 years of continuous and selfless service as a member of the Melrose American Legion Post 439. Presenting the award is the post commander Dennis Schaller. Bob served in the Army as a field radio repairman from 1954-1956, stationed in Korea near the end of the Korean Conflict. Contributed photo.
