   TOMAH - Mary C. Waltemath, age 73, of Tomah, Wisconsin passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at home on Wednesday, November 29, 2023. Born on May 29, 1950, Mary’s 73 years of life were rich with love, laughter, and meaningful connections.

   As a dedicated licensed practical nurse, Mary’s career was marked by the same loving kindness she showed in every aspect of her life. Her work was not just a job but a true vocation, as she brought comfort and healing to countless individuals over the years.

   Mary’s greatest joy was her family. She leaves behind a legacy of love with her devoted husband of 52 years, Marty, her children, Jay (Angie) Waltemath and Becky (Duane) Prielipp, and the grandchildren who brightened her days, Brooke (John) Costello, Ty Waltemath, Blake, Bryce and Brett Larsen, Hannah (Garett) Scott, Caleb (Cassandra) Scott, Devyn (Braeden) Oneil, Dawson (Marisa) Prielipp, Lexis and Kylie Prielipp and great grandchildren, Leni, Luna, Rosie and Carter. She is further survived by siblings, Ann (Bob) Thompson, Kay Snider, Donna Nicol, Gail (Rich) Armour, Kurt (Deb) Farmer and Tony (Sue) Farmer, and many, many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

   She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Carol Farmer; and brother, John Farmer.

   Mary embraced life with enthusiasm, cherishing opportunities to travel and create memories with her loved ones. Mary’s passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her gentle, thoughtful, and loving nature will be forever remembered and dearly missed
