BLANCHE E. EGEBRECHT

March 5, 1930—December 20, 2020

   SPARTA - Blanche E. Egebrecht, 90, of Sparta, WI, passed away December 20, 2020 at 4:10 a.m. in Morrow Memorial Nursing Home. She was born on March 5, 1930 to Donald and Mary (nee: Standiford) Woodworth. Married to the late Marshall H. Egebrecht on October 14, 1950, in Chicago, IL.

   Interests and Hobbies: She loved to do different types of Needle Point and word puzzles in her spare time. She was very fond of horses but was never able to ride one, and that was always her dream. She was also very fond of Roy Rogers and Dale Evans and had many pictures of them throughout the years, and their pictures hung on her wall even at the Nursing Home. She was also very fond of Abraham Lincoln, and read many books about his life. She worked in many restaurants over the years and retired from Mindy's in 1993.

   Survived by: Daughter Marsha (Michael) Berardi of Lebanon, TN; sons: Mark (Laura) Egebrecht of Norton, MA, Brian Egebrecht of Worth, IL, Gary (Kelly) Egebrecht of Pasco, WA, and Matthew Egebrecht of Tucson, AZ; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; brothers: James Woodworth, DeWitt Woodworth, Alan (Peggy) Woodworth; and sisters: Sheila Heineck and Sally (Steve) Gray. As Blanche was one of 14 children, she was blessed with many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

   Preceded by death: Donald and Mary (Standiford) Woodworth, Mrs. Jean Womick, Mrs. Nena Clark, Mrs. Betty Sanders, Donald (Dick) Woodworth, Gary Woodworth, Mrs. Shirley White, Mrs. Ellen Ramech and Jane Woodworth.

   Thank you to my cousin Linda Dahlby and the staff at the Morrow Home in Sparta for taking such good care of our mother in our absence.

   WHEN THE TIME COMES FOR THE MEMORIAL SERVICE, in lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Morrow Home Community Foundation of Sparta, WI.

   Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Memorial Service for Blanche will be delayed until July of 2021. Detailed information to follow at the appropriate time.
