TOMAH - Carol A. Paulin, 85 of Tomah passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022, at the Serenity House. She was born on June 3, 1936, to Arden and Beatrice (Martin) Christy, in Milwaukee.  Carol graduated from Rufus King High School in Milwaukee Class of 1954. 

   On October 2, 1954, she was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart Henry L. Paulin.  Carol and Henry relocated to the Tomah area in 1968.  Carol had a long career at the Tomah VA Hospital, starting out in building management and later as a secretary in the x-ray department, retiring in 1992. Carol loved bowling and for many years served as the president of the Women’s Bowling Association, she also enjoyed crocheting and knitting in her spare time.  Carol had a sunny personality and always had smile in her face.

   She is survived by her husband, Henry of Tomah and daughter, Judi Lynn Panek of Princeton, TX.  Carol is further survived by other relative and many dear friends. 

   She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter June McCamment.

   According to her wishes no formal services will be held.
