SPARTA - David George Hanson, 68, of Sparta, died February 25, 2023, at his residence.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, March 2, 2023, at Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home and Cremation, Sparta.

A visitation will be held from 12:00 PM-1:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be offered at www.schanhoferfh.com. Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home and Cremation, Sparta, is assisting the family with arrangements.

SPARTA-Ruth E. Ebert, 94, of Sparta, was welcomed into Heaven on Sunday, April 21, 2024. At the time of her death, she was surrounded by her children at Pigeon Falls Health Care Center where she had been a beloved resident for the past 3 years. Ruth was born on April 19, 1930 in Angelo, WI to Victor Dewey and Carrie Leila (Shaw) Hughes. She grew up in Angelo and graduated from Sparta High School in 1947.
