   TOMAH - Gaylon G. Jorgenson, age 84, of Tomah, WI, died Thursday, December 24, 2020, at his home. He was born February 13, 1936, to Robert C. and Anna (Christensen) Jorgenson in Monroe County. On September 29, 1956, he was united in marriage to Maxine Graewin in Waukon, IA.

   Gaylon attended Tomah High School, then went and worked at American Motors in Kenosha for seven months. He joined the Navy and spent four years there; he then returned to AMC for six years before moving in 1968 with his family to Tomah. Gaylon worked for the VA Hospital for 31 years. After retirement, he enjoyed driving bus for about 10 years.

   He is survived by two sons, Robert and Randy (Leora); one daughter, Gaylene (Mike) Noth; grandchildren, Tyler (Morghan) Noth, Morgan Noth, Brianna Jorgenson, Logan Jorgenson, and Autumn Jorgenson; great-grandchildren, Rhyan and Kendall Noth; sister, Marlene (Robert) Batten; many cousins and relatives.

   He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; and his sister, Nancy Loughan.

   Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2020, 11:00 a.m., at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah. Pastor Ron Davidson will officiate. Burial will be held at the St. Peter’s Cemetery in Shennington. Family and friends are invited for visitation from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
