SPARTA - Steve J. Gordon, 59, of Sparta, died January 11, 2023.

A Celebration of Life visitation will be held on Saturday, May 13th from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM at Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home and Cremation in Sparta.

Family and friends are invited to a 60th Birthday Bash at Wayside Tavern in Sparta on Saturday, May 13th, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home and Cremation, Sparta, is assisting the family with arrangements.

SPARTA-Ruth E. Ebert, 94, of Sparta, was welcomed into Heaven on Sunday, April 21, 2024. At the time of her death, she was surrounded by her children at Pigeon Falls Health Care Center where she had been a beloved resident for the past 3 years. Ruth was born on April 19, 1930 in Angelo, WI to Victor Dewey and Carrie Leila (Shaw) Hughes. She grew up in Angelo and graduated from Sparta High School in 1947.
