SPARTA - Steven J. Schaitel, 61, of Sparta, died Saturday, December 19, 2020. Steven was born on January 10, 1959, to Alvin amd Jean (Rasmussen) Schaitel and attended Sparta Schools. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and was most recently employed at Blue Lynk.
Steven is survived by his daughter, Natasha; mother, Jean Kempfer; sisters, Suzanne, Carol and Christine; stepmother, Katy Schaitel; and his cat “Graybaby”.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, there will be no service. Private burial will be held at a later date.
