   Camp Douglas - Vivian Beatrice Nelson 92, of Camp Douglas, was called to her heavenly home on Monday, February 27, 2023. Vivian was born August 26, 1930 to George and Katie (Allen) Anderson on the family farm. She grew up in the Arkdale area and attended country school.  Vivian had 6 brothers and sisters, being one of the oldest.  She helped raise her brothers and sisters.  On April 2, 1950, Vivian was united in marriage to Egund Nelson. He  preceded her in death on Sept 30, 2013.  She was blessed with 3 children, Carol, Bernice “Babe”, and Michael. They bought a farm in the Township of Byron.  Milking cows, working the farm, and keeping household she was kept busy. Vivian also worked other jobs as well, sorting cranberries at the Potter Cranberry Marsh, and as a nursing assistant at the Department of Veterans Affairs Hospital, in Tomah.  Vivian will always be remembered for her giving heart, she always wanted to help others even if she didn’t know them. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother always putting her family first. She was kind and generous with a contagious smile. She will be missed dearly.

   Vivian is survived by her children, Carol Loveless of Camp Douglas, Bernice “Babe” (Bob) Jarosz of Arlington Heights, IL, her grandchildren, Wayne Loveless, Pat (Tracy) Loveless, Katie Loveless, all of Camp Douglas, Anna (Abdo) El Khoury of Arlington Heights, IL, Robert Jarosz of Arlington Heights, IL, John Nelson of Tomah, Kurt Nelson of La Crescent, MN, and Danielle (Jake) Jensen of Easton, MN, great grandchildren, Cheyenne (Brian) Brockman, Morghan (Tyler) Noth, Emily Loveless, Gretchen Loveless, Madelyn McNulty, Christian El Khoury Gabriel El Khoury, Carolina El Khoury, Tyler Nelson, Bryton Nelson, Elizabeth Nelson, Ethan Nelson, and Derek Jensen, great great grandchildren, Conor Brockman, Briggs Brockman, Ryan Noth, Kendall Noth, many other relatives and friends.

   In addition to her husband, she was preceded was preceded in death by a son Michael,  a son in law Arthur Loveless by her twin Viola, many other brothers, and sisters.

   Funeral services will be held  Tuesday, March 7, 2023, 2:00 P.M. at Bethel Baptist Church,  N9498 1st Ave, Camp Douglas, WI.  Pastor Ronald Davidson will officiate. Burial will be at a later date.  Relatives and friends are invited for a time of visitation on Tuesday at the church from 1:00 PM until the time of service.  Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home is assisting the family.  Online condolences may be left at www.sonnenburgfamilyfh.com.
