SPARTA - The world lost a complex soul on December 22, 2023 when Jason Westpfahl left this earthly realm to find peace and sanctuary with our Lord.
Jason was a father figure, a protector and friend to many. Others would say their relationship with Jason was more complicated. Regardless, Jason was here to support and challenge all that knew him.
The most important role that Jason held was that of Grandpa. Jason’s world revolved around his grandchildren; Addison, Virgil, Ripley and Ophelia. They are the ones that completed Jason’s life, the ones that offered him the most joy. Jason was a loving and giving father to Brittnay (Matt). Jason was also a brother - described as a “giant” of a man when it came to this role. Jason was brother to Jamie (Sam), Debbie (Keith), Bonnie (Rusty) and Stacy (Todd).
Jason will be met and embraced by Gilbert and Ethelyn Westpfahl, his sister Ellen and Godson Cody.
Jason will be immensely missed by those of us left behind, however by the grace of God, we will be reunited.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024, 4:00 p.m. at the Torkelson Funeral Home,1132 Angelo Rd., in Sparta, WI.. Visitation for Jason will take place from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m on Friday at the funeral home. All are welcome to converse and snack after the service.
