HILLSBORO- Kari L. Bentheimer, age 62, of Hillsboro, Wisconsin, passed away Friday, May 17, 2024, at the UW Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin.

Born February 7, 1962, to Perry and Janis Bentheimer, Kari’s life was one marked by the joy she found in the simple pleasures. She had an innate ability to find happiness in the laughter of her children and grandchildren, the beauty of a garden in bloom, and the thrill of the open road beneath her motorcycle. Kari’s love for the outdoors was evident in her passion for camping and hiking, activities that she often shared with her family and friends.  She always loved watching the sunrise, whether it was from her kitchen window or over the lake.

Kari’s legacy continues through her beloved grandchildren, Elle and NovaLee, who were the light of her life. She delighted in every moment spent with them, especially doing arts and crafts.

Kari’s life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, kindness, and adventure. Her spirit will continue to guide us. Though she has set off on her final journey, the memories she created will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends. A life well-lived and a soul that touched so many.

She is survived by her children, Alex Degenhardt (Melanie), Perry Ravet (Elizabeth) and Kendra Ravet (Justin), granddaughters, Elle and NovaLee, sisters, Lisa (Martin) Potter, Ledi (Dean) Loeffler and Mari Buechner, former husbands, Michael Degenhardt and Michael Ravet, nieces, nephews, special friend, Karl Hagenah, other relatives and friends.
