   TOMAH - Kenneth R McDaniel, 88, of Tomah passed away Friday, March 15, 2024 at the Morrow Memorial Home, Sparta. He was born January 14, 1936 to Joseph and Lena (Sherrick) McDaniel in Clifton, Wisconsin.

   He enjoyed playing baseball with his friends in Elroy as well with his nieces and nephews. He proudly served in the Army and spent two years in Germany. Then he came home and married the love of his life Irene Malson to this union five children were born. They enjoyed traveling all over the United States as a family with multiple generations. His favorite place always was the North Shore of Lake Superior.

   He is survived by his wife Irene of 62+ years. His children Ron (Diane) McDaniel, Randy (Julie Harris) McDaniel, Rita (Jim) Murphy, Diana Sahr, Sherry (David) Koel, 6 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, sister in law Margaret McDaniel, many nieces and nephews, and his for legged little girls Daisy and Gracie.

   Thank you to the Morrow Home for taking such great care of him especially Miss Ohio!

   He was preceded in death by a Granddaughter Brandee Baldwin, son in law Michael Sahr, his parents Joseph and Lena McDaniel, his mother and father in law Lester and Elna Malston, nine sisters, seven brothers, many brother in laws and sister in laws and nieces and nephews.

   A Funeral Service will be at 11am Tuesday March 19th at St Mary’s Episcopal Church, 1001 McLean Ave, Tomah. Father Guy Usher will officiate. Burial will be in Hilltop Rest Cemetery in Ontario with military honors.
