VIROQUA - Mary Wallace, 79, of Viroqua WI died March 21st, 2024. She was born to Bert and Lola (Clark) Wallace on Aug 15th, 1944.
She had a bubbly personality, infectious smile, and kind heart. Mary was a care giver to her niece, Elisabeth in childhood. She befriended many families at church who became close friends. There was always a VHS tape that was being copied of a TV show for someone. She had parakeets that she raised and would let fly around on occasion. Mary was very interested in genealogy and created a book of her line that she shared with family and updated regularly. Other activities included her many crafts. She did beaded stars and bells, wallpaper angels/dolls, crochet Easter eggs, and so much more.
Mary is survived by her brothers, Larry (Pearla), Paul (Rosa), Val (Jackie), and David (Marsha); her brothers-in-law, Bob (Luanne) Wruck and Ken Kaus; her sisters-in-law, Judy Wallace, Cindy Wallace, and Donna Wallace (Lester); along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers and sisters, Lee (Bub), Jim and Don Wallace, Donna Kaus, and Anita Wruck.
Per Mary’s wishes, no funeral services are being planned at this time. The Torkelson Funeral Home of Ontario, Wis., is assisting the family with arrangements.
