Nancy Sue Wright, 75 of Stanley, WI and formerly of Sparta, WI passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2025. She was born on June 5, 1949 in Austin, MN to the late Richard and Jewell Blowers. She was the second child born following eldest sister Judith and followed by Peggy, David and Dean.
Nancy married Micheal “Mike” Wright and had 3 daughters; Tina Wright, Amy (Troy) Hollowitsch and Robin Wright. Nancy and Mike later divorced. Nancy is grandmother to Malakii Hollowitsch, Ariel (Jalon) Kollmansberger and Nolan Jacobsen and great grandmother to Adelaide, Amyas and Opal Kollmansberger and numerous nieces and nephews.
Nancy lived almost her whole adult life in Sparta, WI only moving to Stanley for memory care. She lived at Thunder Creek Adult Home. Nancy loved doing her word search puzzles and watching Little House on the Prairie. She loved her caregivers: Karri and Jim Burzynski as they provided great care for Nancy. She loved getting visits from her daughter: Amy and son in law: Troy.
Nancy is preceded in death by her parents, her first born child, Brian Scott Wright, her sister, Judith Schneider, nephew, Robert Schneider and “son in law” Brian Bruggeman.
Nancy will be laid to rest at the Peaceful Pines Family Sanctuary in Mosinee, WI.
