WOODRUFF - Scott T. Goodenough went to his eternal reward at age 51. He was working in Fayetteville, North Carolina on a renovation project. Scott was born in Woodruff, Wisconsin to his mother Kathleen Goodenough on December 12, 1972. In 1977, Scott and his mom moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota when he was ready to start school. After the closure of Powderhorn Christian School, Scott and his mom relocated to Lexington, Kentucky in 1984. Several of his peers and their families also relocated and remained lifelong friends, Richard St. Germain being one of them. Scott began praying for Richard to be his new daddy, and at age 13, he gave his mom away to Richard in Holy Matrimony. He was thrilled to have Richard become his daddy. Scott graduated middle school from New Covenant Academy. He attended Madison Central High in Richmond, Kentucky, where he was on the honor roll and tutored in Geometry and English. He received his Associate of Science and Associate of Art degree’s and graduated from Bluegrass Community and Technical College in Lexington, Kentucky with a 4.0 GPA in each program, with a focus on Logic and Family studies. Scott then received his Bachelor of Science degree from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota with a 3.8 GPA and a focus on Counseling Psychology, Statistics, and Writing. Scott married Amy Columbia on June 14, 2003, at Grace Bible Church in Warrens, Wisconsin. They resided in Lexington, Kentucky until relocating to Louisville, Kentucky in 2007, where they raised their two beautiful daughters, Madison Haven and Ava Grace Goodenough. Scott owned and successfully operated Add Audio, a mobile DJ service, from 2004 until Covid-19 struck our nation and destroyed much in our world. Scott was a man of many gifts and talents. He never had an enemy and loved people. He was fun-loving and involved in a band (Juicebomb), and entertained where the college crowds gathered in the early 2000’s. He delighted in doing skits with his girls and going camping/partying. He will be sorely missed by his many family and friends. He loved his girls and his wife to the end of his days.
Scott is survived by his wife, Amy; their two daughters, Madison Haven and Ava Grace; parents, Kathleen and Richard St. Germain of Warrens, Wisconsin; parents-in-law, Larry and Linda Columbia of Louisville, Kentucky; sister-in-law, Lisa Columbia of Lexington, Kentucky; aunts and uncles, Jerry and Karen Krajewski of Rochester, Minnesota; Kitty Kappl of Richland, Washington; Basil and Kay Chambers of Nevis, Minnesota; Kyle and Diana Goodenough of Gulf Shores, Alabama; George and Karalyn Renaud of Warrens, Wisconsin; Kevin and Elizabeth Goodenough of Warrens, Wisconsin; Kurt and Melody Goodenough of Saint Louis Park, Minnesota; and dozens of cousins, and many other family and friends.
Scott is preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Neoma Goodenough; and cousins, Jeremy Chambers and David Kappl. We will meet again on those streets of gold.
