Passed in Peace on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at the age of 79 after a courageous battle with Dementia.

Terry Rae Welcher was born June 25, 1942 in Sparta, WI to Ruth Irene (McCumber) Welcher and Vilas Kenneth Welcher.  Terry graduated from Sparta High school in 1960 and married Rodney Robert Hannula on March 10, 1962.

Terry was a wonderful, fun, kind, loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, friend and devoted wife to her husband of 59 years, Rodney Hannula.  To put it simply, Terry was SuperMom - raising 5 children in Maplewood, Minnesota for over 3 decades and was extremely proud that they all have college degrees.  Terry loved music (John Denver, ABBA, Francis Goya), reading (Danielle Steele), singing and dancing with Rod.

Terry enjoyed bowling, golfing, going for walks, roller blading and never backed away from a ride on the tilt-a-whirl!  She also enjoyed traveling the world (Mediterranean/Holy Land Cruise, African Cruise, Mexican Riviera Cruise, Germany, England, Scotland, Norway, Mexico, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico) and spending quality time, including many family trips, with Rod, friends, her children and grandchildren.

Terry is survived by her husband, Major General (ret) Rodney R Hannula and 5 children: son Ronn Hannula and wife Laurel-TN, daughter Tracy Populorum-MN, son Timm Hannula and wife Noelle-CA, son Jay Hannula and wife Alysa-MN and son Brad Hannula and wife Michelle-CA.
