SPARTA-Virginia M. Strait, 82, of Sparta, died Friday, February 9, 2024 at Tomah Health. She was born on March 30, 1941 in La Crosse to Raymond and Melba (Steele) Good. She grew up in La Crosse and Onalaska.
Virginia worked at Morrow Memorial Home and St. Mary’s Hospital in Sparta.
Virginia is survived her sons, Robert A., Roger E., and Kevin (Vicki) Strait; grandchildren, Shannon (Bryan) Davis, Allysa (Tim) Ruswick, Amanda Brandau, and Robert A. Strait Jr; great-grandchildren, Elin Davis, Evelyn Davis, Avery Brandau, Peyton Swett, Parker Swett, and Bow Ellis Carpenter; and her siblings.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 62 years, Keith; and siblings.
A graveside service and burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Sparta, with Reverend Randy Williamson officiating.
