NORWALK - Erin E. (Brandon) Marten, 47 of Norwalk, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2023, at her home. She was born on November 30, 1976, to David Brandon and Dolores Hannan in LaCrosse. Erin was a member of the Tomah High School Graduate Class of 1995. She was raised in the Warrens area by her mother and stepfather, Dolores, and Richard Doers. Erin worked as a nursing assistant for the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center-Tomah for over 10 years, Touch of Home as well as providing nursing care in home health. On October 12, 2019, Erin was married to Russell L. Marten in Las Vegas, NV.
Erin had a fun and feisty demeanor. She was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed spending time with her son Zachary taking him to his school and extracurricular activities. She loved decorating the house and refinishing furniture in her spare time.
She is survived by her husband, Russell and son Zachary of Norwalk, mother, Dolores Doers, father, David Brandon, father-in-law, Donald Marten, brothers-in-law, Thomas and Jim of Nowalk, Roger of Tomah, sisters-in-law, Beth Marten of Norwalk, and Sarah (Jim) Courey of Waco, TX. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Darlene Marten, stepfather, Richard Doers, aunts, Patty and Vicki and an uncle, Tom.
A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, 801 E. Monowau Street, Tomah.
A Graveside Committal Service will be held on Thursday, December 14, 2023, 11:00 AM at St. John Lutheran Cemetery.
