TOMAH - Andrea M. Wiltsie, 90 of Tomah, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, surrounded by her loving family at Tomah Health.  She was born on January 16, 1934, to Andrew and Laura (Lessard) Jost in Eau Pleine, WI.  Andrea attended Stratford High School.  On July 9, 1954, Andrea was united in marriage to Clinton Wiltsie.  He preceded her in death on December 31, 2000.  Earlier in life, Andrea worked as a legal secretary in Milwaukee. After relocating to Tomah, Andrea and Clinton were well known in the area as the owner and operators of the Wiltsie Vegetable and Fruit Stand.  They were in business for over 40 years.  She also drove school bus for the Tomah School District for several years.  Andrea was a gifted artist who enjoyed calligraphy and topography art, along with the art of German rosemaling.  In the fall, she would often paint different designs on pumpkins to sell at the fruit stand and to decorate around her home.  Reading, watching game shows, and playing cards and bingo were also some of Andrea’s favorite pastimes.  Andrea lived life to the fullest and made sure to have lots of fun along the way.  She was never one to complain or want to put others out on her account. Her Christmas cookies were always a special treat and family favorite.  She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother, who was sweet as can be.

She is survived by her daughter, Connie (Thomas) Johnson of Tomah; grandchildren, Tarry Wiltsie of Tomah, Tessa Jagger of New Orleans, and Jamie Johnson of Tomah; 4 grandchildren, Gunnar, Kamryn, Felix, and Alexis; great grandchildren, Rowan and Sawyer; and sister, Leatrice Wiltsie.  She is further survived by other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton; sister, Catherine Franklin; and son Bruce.

According to her wishes, a private family committal service will be held at Mount Vernon Cemetery.  Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.  Online condolences can be offered by visiting www.sonnenburgfamilyfh.com.
