TOMAH - Barbara Lynn Rice, age 65, of Winona, MN, and formerly of Tomah, WI, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. Barb was born on November 3, 1958 in Tomah, WI to William and Linda (Slater) Rice.  She is survived by and will be dearly missed by her children, Kim (Nate) Cramblit and their children, Kasyn and Marley; and Mark Collins; her brothers and sisters, Mark (Gayle) Rice, Cheryl (Steve) Fry, Joyce (Duane) Dritlein, William (Sandy) Rice, and Jody (Jim) Miller; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.  Barb was preceded in death by her parents, William and Linda Rice; brothers, Patrick Rice and Gary Stokely; her step-mother, Marilyn Rice; and nephew, Weslee Rice.

Barb had a heart of pure gold and will be remembered for her angelical presence here on earth.  She was kind, compassionate, loving, selfless, loyal, strong and independent.  Barb always saw the good in everyone, and was willing to do anything for those she loved. The world was a better place with her in it, and we all are blessed to have known her.

Barb’s passion for decorating was always beautifully displayed in the homes that she lived in, and portrayed in the landscapes that she built around them.  Her talent symbolized who she was, a beautiful soul both inside and out. Barb also enjoyed a countryside road cruise, flower shopping, lobster, vacationing and gatherings with family and friends.

In all the beautiful facets of her life, being a mother and grandmother is where Barb flourished.  The bonds she shared with her children and grandchildren were truly something special.  Her ability to give advice and guidance was endless, and she built a life that her family will forever cherish.
