“You’ve got this!” That is one of the phrases I had to remind myself of throughout the bike trip. The bike trip that Innovations Stem Academy took on September 24 was very engaging, fun, and challenging. We biked Sparta's bike trail starting at the Chamber Of Commerce and ending there for ice cream with our family.
During the trip there were many cool things to see! For example, the metal tunnel that reaches across the highway, and the two streams that collide beautifully when getting closer to the train tunnel. There were also cool things to hear like the pebbles skipping across the stone floor of the tunnel, or birds chirping on the earthy path.
My favorite part of the tunnel was that it was peaceful, fun. Even though damp and muggy. I found myself laughing, skipping, singing, and enjoying the time with my friends; the water dripped onto our heads and soaked our feet, but we still had a complete blast!
Fellow STEMmers and I faced challenges throughout the trip, but even when we got tired we pushed through and encouraged each other. Let that be a lesson: even when things get hard, keep going! If you surround yourself with the right people or things, you'll never stop and blast to the stars!
